This is the second group of cover and inside-page illustrations from the 1930s that someone clipped from magazines and stored away. Most of these are illustrations of dogs and other animals.
I came across these while looking through some ephemera I bought at auction some time ago that I had put aside and forgotten. Some of the illustrators included John Gee (also a children’s book illustrator) and Diana Thorne. Most were not signed.
What was just as interesting about these were the ads on the flip side of the pages.
