From time to time while I’m wandering through furniture at auction houses, I meet up with some pieces that are so beautiful that they will me to stop. I’m never in the market for furniture, but the pieces make me gawk like a driver passing a car crash.
The difference is that I stop and stare, and admire. That’s what happened recently at two auction houses on the same day. The first had an array of items that were just awesome; the other had several pieces of furniture that would’ve looked great in my home.
